Welcome!

The Carlisle First Church of God is a non-Pentecostal, evangelical church holding the position that the Bible is the inspired, infallible authority, the Word of God, our only rule of faith and practice.

Our local Church dates back to 1894 when an organization meeting was held in Sipe's Hall on South Hanover Street, Carlisle. At that meeting thirty-six people covenanted together to form the Carlisle First Church of God. That same year the new congregation purchased a church building on West Louther Street, Carlisle, and met in that location until 1974 at which time the congregation moved to our present address.

Our Sunday Schedule

9:30 AM - Worship Service: A time of Worship through music, prayer, and the preaching of God's Word.

v Church Nursery: A nursery with adult supervision is available to care for infants through 3 year-old children during the Sunday Morning Worship Service.
v Junior Church: Junior Church is offered for children ages 3 years through 4th grade.

10:40 AM: Sunday School: Classes for all ages are conducted, including Nursery through Adults. These classes offer a variety of Christian educational opportunities.
